CEE CA SEC
Building resilient partnerships between Central Europe, Central Asia and beyond.
Who We Are
CEE CA SEC is an independent platform for economic integration, policy dialogue and sustainable transformation between Central Europe (CEE) and Central Asia (CA).
We operate at the intersection of economic cooperation, governance, environmental sustainability and strategic communication, while integrating academic perspectives from Political Science, Peace & Conflict Studies, and applied research into our work.
In a rapidly changing geopolitical and economic environment, Central Europe and Central Asia are becoming increasingly interconnected through trade corridors, energy routes, value chains and academic exchange. However, sustainable integration requires more than infrastructure — it requires coordinated policy frameworks, capable institutions, informed societies and a deeper understanding of political, social and conflict-related dynamics.
CEE CA SEC addresses this need.
Our work combines practical implementation with analytical and academic engagement. We contribute to policy-oriented research, governance analysis and peace-related approaches, linking economic development with stability, conflict sensitivity and long-term resilience.
We actively engage in academic research and knowledge production, including cooperation with universities, development of research platforms, and the publication of analytical work and policy-relevant studies. This allows us to connect theory and practice and ensures that our activities are grounded in evidence and long-term thinking.
We recognise that economic transformation, governance and peacebuilding are closely interconnected. Challenges such as resource management, regional inequalities, migration and environmental change influence both development trajectories and conflict dynamics. By integrating Peace & Conflict perspectives, we support more sustainable, inclusive and forward-looking policy solutions.
